XBIZ Awards Winners to Be Announced Real-Time on Twitter

LOS ANGELES — Adult industry professionals unable to attend the star-studded XBIZ Awards on Feb. 10 can turn to Twitter for real-time announcements revealing luminaries and power players taking home the coveted prize.“As the industry source for the latest news in adult entertainment, XBIZ embraces the latest social media technologies in our effort to maximize our reach around the globe,” XBIZ President Alec Helmy said. “By tapping into the power of Twitter, we’ll be keeping the adult entertainment community connected with up to the minute winner announcements from the biggest business awards show in the biz.”
With XBIZ on the Twitter scene, users of the microblogging site will also have the opportunity to interact and congratulate winners as they walk across the legendary Avalon Hollywood stage to accept their honors.
Taking place at the famous Avalon in the heart of Hollywood, the 2010 XBIZ Awards will be hosted by top stars Teagan Presley and Sunny Leone and will be attended by the industry A-list.

I got this E-mail from my cousin. I have two nephews in harms way. One of them was part of a story very similar to this. An act of kindness from a total stranger on a plane. Whenever I see someone in service, I shake their hand and say thank you. What happened to those of us who came back from Viet Nam, will never happen to them.
The Sack Lunches
I put my carry-on in the luggage compartment and sat down in my assigned seat.
It was going to be a long flight. ‘I’m glad I have a good book to read. Perhaps
I will get a short nap,’ I thought.
Just before take-off, a line of soldiers came down the aisle and filled all the
vacant seats, totally surrounding me. I decided to start a conversation.
‘Where are you headed?’ I asked the soldier seated nearest to me.
‘Petawawa. We’ll be there for two weeks for special training, and then we’re
being deployed to Afghanistan
After flying for about an hour, an announcement was made that sack lunches were
available for five dollars. It would be several hours before we reached the
east, and I quickly decided a lunch would help pass the time…
As I reached for my wallet, I overheard a soldier ask his buddy if he planned to
buy lunch. ‘No, that seems like a lot of money for just a sack lunch. Probably
wouldn’t be worth five bucks. I’ll wait till we get to base.’
His friend agreed.
I looked around at the other soldiers. None were buying lunch. I walked to the
back of the plane and handed the flight attendant a fifty dollar bill. ‘Take a
lunch to all those soldiers.’ She grabbed my arms and squeezed tightly. Her eyes
wet with tears, she thanked me. ‘My son was a soldier in Iraq ; it’s almost like
you are doing it for him.’
Picking up ten sacks, she headed up the aisle to where the soldiers were seated.
She stopped at my seat and asked, ‘Which do you like best – beef or chicken?’
‘Chicken,’ I replied, wondering why she asked. She turned and went to the front
of plane, returning a minute later with a dinner plate from first class.
‘This is your thanks..’
After we finished eating, I went again to the back of the plane, heading for the
rest room.
A man stopped me. ‘I saw what you did. I want to be part of it. Here, take
this.’ He handed me twenty-five dollars.
Soon after I returned to my seat, I saw the Flight Captain coming down the
aisle, looking at the aisle numbers as he walked, I hoped he was not looking for
me, but noticed he was looking at the numbers only on my side of the plane. When
he got to my row he stopped, smiled, held out his hand and said, ‘I want to
shake your hand.’ Quickly unfastening my seatbelt I stood and took the Captain’s
hand. With a booming voice he said, ‘I was a soldier and I was a military pilot.
Once, someone bought me a lunch. It was an act of kindness I never forgot.’ I
was embarrassed when applause was heard from all of the passengers.
Later I walked to the front of the plane so I could stretch my legs. A man who
was seated about six rows in front of me reached out his hand, wanting to shake
mine. He left another twenty-five dollars in my palm.
When we landed I gathered my belongings and started to deplane. Waiting just
inside the airplane door was a man who stopped me, put something in my shirt
pocket, turned, and walked away without saying a word. Another twenty-five
dollars!
Upon entering the terminal, I saw the soldiers gathering for their trip to the
base.
I walked over to them and handed them seventy-five dollars. ‘It will take you
some time to reach the base.. It will be about time for a sandwich.
God Bless You.’
Ten young men left that flight feeling the love and respect of their fellow
travelers.
As I walked briskly to my car, I whispered a prayer for their safe return. These
soldiers were giving their all for our country. I could only give them a couple
of meals.. It seemed so little…
A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made
payable to ‘The United States of America ‘ for an amount of ‘up to and
including my life.’
That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer
understand it.’

So my re do party was sooo much fun! it was at aqua lounge. i love that club. there always super friendly. there was lots of media! and lots of pornstars. Jeff Timmons from 68 degree sang on stage and sang me happy birthday. All my sexy friends came, Sindee Jennings, sierra Skye, puma Swede, kendra secrets. angela aspen cassandra collenger, aryanna starr , sincere, sea j raw, nita, and sooo many more. crazy. every one was buying me birthday shots, i knew the party was going to be fun , because in the limo ride to the club, it was like a big fuck fest. all the girls were getting it on. definitely a party to remember! so thanks to my friends, thanks to king Ryan! and thank you friend and photograpoha Rick Garcia and thank you sierra skye for being my sexy good friend 
the party wasn’t over because last night, Me, Angela aspen + others went to boulevard 3, to P Diddy’s Grammy party. its a very nice club, and had alot of sexy people there. diddy’s assistants were there from the show i want to work for Diddy. it was so crowded ! after the club we went to ihop. i stacked up on food lol as today i started the lemonade cleanse.
Fingers crossed also this Thursday, i will be shooting content for my website. and ill be shooting with London keys. and then another girl girl with sienna west. also at the end of the month, hopefully will be shooting with Nina Hartley!!

You’re lying there, listening to the enemy machine guns, and you know you’re not getting out. Your family is half way around the world—12,000 miles away—and you’ll never see them again.. As the world starts to fade in and out, you know this is the day.
Then, over the machine gun noise, you faintly hear that sound of helicopter, and you look up to see an un-armed Huey, but it doesn’t seem real, because no Medi-Vac markings are on it.
Ed Freeman is coming for you. He’s not Medi-Vac, so it’s not his job, but he’s flying his Huey down into the machine gun fire, after the Medi-Vacs were ordered not to come.
He’s coming anyway.
And he drops it in, and sits there in the machine gun fire, as they load 2 or 3 of you on board.
Then he flies you up and out through the gunfire, to the doctors and nurses.
And, he kept coming back…13 more times…and took about 30 of you and your buddies out, who would never have gotten out.
Medal of Honor Recipient, Ed Freeman, died March 25th, 2009 at the age of 80, in Boise, ID…May God rest his soul.

LOS ANGELES – AVN launched a mobile site and partnered with PornStarTweet.com for the upcoming Erotica LA, June 12-14 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
“AVN enters the mobile arena with our m.Erotica-LA.com site. This mobile device website offers booth listings, event and seminar schedules, porn star signing times and locations, F.A.M.E. Awards coverage, news and more,” said Mary Beth Barnett, AVN’s director of digital media.
The mobile site also features answers to frequently-asked questions and provides an easy-to-use map of the must-attend event for any fan of erotica and adult entertainment.
“The Erotica LA mobile site is AVN’s latest method to connect with our audience, and the idea sprung from a customer service vantage point,” explained Cindy Cheer, marketing director for Erotica LA. “The site will enable our customers to receive content conveniently and with more flexibility.
“Plus, with the PornStarTweet.com tweet-ups happening all weekend, the consumers will be receiving information from several sources. PornStarTweet.com will be reporting on the F.A.M.E. Awards and both Erotica LA and PornStarTweet.com will be tweeting on all consumer activities.”
With only 7 days left until the show, updates on exhibitor product launches, porn star appearances and giveaways are frequent and the mobile site offers the fastest access to the latest on Erotica LA.
